The lips are a vital part of the facial aesthetic. Well-proportioned, plump, hydrated lips can be such a beautiful feature. These treatments aim to revitalise your lips and give them a gorgeous softness, definition and proportion.
Your doctor will spend some time with you to understand what shape, volume and result you would like from your treatment. Following consultation, numbing cream is applied. Once you are ready, the doctor will proceed with micro-droplet injections to hydrate and shape the lips. We use the highest quality hyaluronic acid fillers to ensure you achieve a natural and long-lasting result.
We use numbing cream and micro-droplets of hyaluronic acid dermal filler to hydrate the lips.
We use Juvederm Volbella, Volift and Voluma hyaluronic acid products. Your practitioner will advise you on which product is best for you.
We use numbing cream to reduce skin sensitivity.
Recovery & Aftercare:
The lips may be swollen, red and possibly bruised following treatment. This may take anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks for this to resolve. You may wish to use arnica, pain killers such as paracetamol, ice packs and antihistamines to relieve any side-effects following treatment.
Duration of Results:
On average, results last for 9-12 months. However, some people may wish to maintain their results more frequently or may wish to build on the lip volume by coming in sooner.
Risks & Complications:
Hyaluronic acid fillers are very safe. Potential risks include swelling, bruising, pain, infection, allergy, triggering cold sores, scarring and pressure on surrounding skin structures.
We cannot safely proceed with this treatment if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or allergic to constituents of treatment. In case of specific health problems, please book a consultation with the doctor.
The prices vary depending on the volume of dermal filler used.
