Exosomes are a topical gel applied to scalp following radiofrequency microneedling. The gel is made from billions of exosomes, micro-vesicles that contain thousands of growth factors, cytokines and nutrients that can stimulate hair growth by:

Stimulation of Hair Follicle Cells: Exosomes contain growth factors that can promote the proliferation and survival of hair follicle cells.

-Anti-Inflammatory Effects: Inflammation in the scalp can contribute to hair loss and inhibit hair growth. Exosomes have been found to have anti-inflammatory properties, which can help create a healthier environment for hair follicles to grow and thrive.

-Modulation of Hair Cycle: The hair growth cycle consists of growth (anagen), regression (catagen), and resting (telogen) phases. Exosomes may influence the hair cycle by promoting the transition of hair follicles from the resting phase to the growth phase, thus increasing the number of actively growing hairs

How to prepare?

At your consultation with us, we will assess your hair, discuss your hair concerns and make a treatment plan to address your needs. At your treatment appointment, your practitioner will discuss the steps of treatment and take you through the process of consent. We will then clean the scalp and take pre-treatment photographs. If you wish to use numbing cream, this will be applied and left on for approximately 20 minutes. We will then perform radiofrequency microneedling over the scalp. This involves the controlled insertion of needles into the scalp at a precise depth, followed by the delivery of heat via radiofrequency energy. We then apply topical exosomes.

Exosomes are an evidence based, effective treatment to improve hair growth and quality. The treatment is suitable for all skin types. We do not recommend this treatment during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Optimal results are achieved when this treatment is combined with our topical prescription serums to accelerate hair growth.

For optimal results we suggest 4-8 sessions

Most people will notice less hair falling after 2 months and will see new hair growth after 6-9 months.

Results are long-term.

The treatment is not painful. Some people may feel a mild stinging sensation during the treatment.

There is some redness, sensitivity and the possibility of some bruises after treatment and this may last for 1-3 days.

This treatment is carried out by our experienced doctors and senior therapists.

We recommend washing your hair on the day of, or day before, treatment to ensure the scalp is clean. Do not use any hair products when coming for treatment. We also recommend not to put hair dye or other potentially irritant chemicals on the scalp for at least 2 weeks before or after treatment. Please bear in mind that if you wish to have numbing cream applied – the hair will look oily/wet after treatment.
