What Results Can I Expect?

Open before and after gallery

SecretPro is an innovative treatment that uniquely combines Radiofrequency microneedling (SecretRF) with CO2 resurfacing laser (SecretCO2) in the same treatment session to help address fine lines, pores, skin laxity, scarring and pigmentation.

SecretPro uses Radiofrequency microneedles to heat the deeper layers of the skin and CO2 laser to fractionally ablate the superficial layers, resulting in multilayer tissue remodelling as well as collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid regeneration.

How to prepare?

All our patients are invited for a consultation appointment prior to treatment. During your consultation, the doctor will assess your concerns and the areas for potential treatment. A laser patch test will also be carried out. There may be a number of other suitable treatment options and the practitioner will discuss these with you in detail. You will be sent information about each treatment via email.

If you choose to go ahead with Secret PRO: on the day of treatment you will be seen by the Doctor who will take you through the consent process, answer any other questions you may have, take before-treatment pictures and apply numbing cream to the area.

Once the skin is anaesthetised, the SecretPro treatment will begin. This will involve radiofrequency microneedling which will feel like warm pulses on the skin. It can be a little uncomfortable but generally not painful. This will take approximately 20 minutes. Immediately after this, the CO2 resurfacing laser treatment will be performed, taking around 30 minutes; and will feel similar to a sun burn sensation. During the CO2 laser treatment your skin will be cooled with a cooling device.

This treatment has been established as a safe and effective treatment for skin laxity, acne scars, traumatic scars, pigmentation, sun damage, enlarged pores, fine lines and uneven skin texture. Drs Tatiana + Rishi Advanced Aesthetics have performed their own research on this treatment, which has been published in the scientific, peer reviewed literature: here

The treatment is best suited to light to olive skin types. In some cases, darker skin types may be suitable for the treatment.

Yes, we require a patch-test at least 1 week prior to your treatment and no more than 6 months from your planned treatment date (even if you have had this treatment done previously elsewhere). The patch-test takes 10 minutes to do and can sometimes be done at your consultation appointment. We recommend stopping retinol 5 days prior and avoiding sun exposure 4 weeks prior patch-test.

Generally 1 session is sufficient to see a significant change in the skin, but in some circumstances, more may be needed.

Generally results last over 3 years.

With adequate anaesthesia, the treatment is very well tolerated. We use a combination of numbing cream and cryocooler that blows cold air on the skin to minimise discomfort.

There is some redness, swelling, sensitivity and crusting of the skin. Most people can be back to work within 5 days and back to normal social activities within 7 days. With more intense treatments, the recovery may be a little longer.

One of our experienced Doctors.

We recommend that you pause any treatments like retinol, tretinoin, salicylic acid or glycolic for 14 days prior treatment. We recommend that you do not tan for at least 4 weeks prior to and for at least 6 weeks after this treatment.
