What Results Can I Expect?

Open before and after gallery

Profhilo is a hyaluronic acid-based injectable product. It contains both high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid that provides deep hydration and also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin through bio-remodelling. Treatment with Profhilo results in improved skin texture, firmness, and overall skin quality. The treatment involves a series of micro-injections strategically placed across the body, promoting deep hydration and skin revitalisation. Thanks to its high purity and safety profile, Profhilo offers a non-invasive and minimally painful solution for individuals seeking a more radiant and lifted complexion with long-lasting results.

How to prepare?

At Drs Tatiana + Rishi Advanced Aesthetics, we ensure that only highly trained doctors or surgeons carry out Profhilo injections, so you can be sure that you are getting the highest possible standard of care. When considering Profhilo, we recommend that you start by booking in a consultation with the doctor. During the consultation we will assess the area of concern, answer any of your questions, show you examples of our work and develop an effective treatment plan for you.

On the day of treatment your doctor will confirm the treatment plan, take you through the consent process and take some pre-treatment photographs. The skin will be cleaned. The doctor will then start the treatment. The process of Profhilo injections takes less than 5 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated. The receptionist will then offer you a review appointment and send you an email confirming the aftercare instructions.

Profhilo can be used for the face, neck, decolletage and many other parts of the body including the hands and abdomen.

Profhilo is a highly researched treatment that has been found to be effective to improve skin hydration, fullness and elasticity.

Typically 3

Most people will see some improvement 1 month after treatment and optimal results at around 3 months after treatment

The results last for months to years. However, this will depend on lifestyle factors such as smoking and sun exposure.

Profhilo injections are very well tolerated with minimal pain

As with any injection, it is possible that you may experience some redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising. These may take a 2-3 days to resolve and bruises sometimes longer. We advise that you don’t plan treatments around important commitments and allow at least 2 weeks between treatment and an important social or work event.

Our injectable treatments are performed by fully trained and experienced doctors and surgeons. You can rest assured that you are getting the highest standard of care by every member of our team.

We recommend that you avoid taking blood thinning tablets such as aspirin or ibuprofen (unless prescribed by your doctor) for 3 days prior to treatment. We also advise avoiding alcohol intake for 24 hours prior to treatment. It is also important that you are available for follow-up after treatment, so we recommend not to book injectable treatment if you are travelling in the next two weeks.
