This combines SecretRF , PicoFx and Exosomes. This resurfacing treatment is effective at treating scarring and uneven skin texture whist also safe for darker skin types.Â
SecretRF is a minimally invasive procedure that combines microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy. This combination works to break down scar tissue and stimulate the production of new collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, resulting in plumper, tighter and more hydrated skin. PicoFX works to deliver laser energy in extremely short picosecond pulses. This ultra-short pulse duration allows a photo-acoustic effect, working to shatter areas of scarring with minimal heat and damage to the surrounding skin. This reduced heat generation helps minimise the risk of thermal damage to the surrounding skin and lowers the chance of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Exosomes, micro-vesicles that contain thousands of growth factors, cytokines and nutrients, are then applied topically to promote cell regeneration, reduce inflammation and improve immune function.

All our patients are invited for a consultation appointment prior to treatment. During your consultation, the doctor will assess your concerns and the areas for potential treatment. There may be a number of suitable treatment options and the practitioner will discuss these with you in detail. You will be sent information about each treatment via email.
If you choose to go ahead with the treatment: on the day of treatment you will be seen by the practitioner who will take you through the consent process, answer any other questions you may have, take before-treatment pictures and apply numbing cream to the area.
Once the skin is fully anaesthetised, the treatment will begin. Normally patients will feel some sensation of warmth or prickling during treatment and an elastic band sensation, but this is very tolerable. The treatment takes approximately 60 minutes, depending on the size of the area to be treated. During the treatment you can talk and listen to music. If you wish, you can bring a friend with you. After treatment, the skin looks red and puffy.
This treatment can be used for face, neck and decolletage.Â
