Eye Veins
Periorbital veins are visible vessels of the upper and lower eyelids. They can be red, purple or blue in colour and they can cause the eye-area to look dark, discoloured and uneven. These vessels are particularly visible in the area around the eyes because the skin is thin and there is little subcutaneous fat.

Treatment Options
Periorbital veins can be quickly, safely and painlessly treated using lasers such as 532nm LBO and 1064nm Nd:YAG. Laser light heats the haemoglobin inside these blood vessels and causes them to permanently close for a brighter and smoother-looking eye area.
