Skin tags are a common skin condition that most people will develop at some point in their lifetime.
Skin tags are small skin growths or skin lesions that are made up of blood vessels and collagen. They are usually soft and flesh-coloured and hang off the surface of the skin.

Plexr
Plexr, also known as Plexr plasma soft surgery uses plasma energy to the skin tag tissue without making any cuts to the skin.
It is less invasive than surgical excision and comes with a faster healing time and fewer risks, including less chance of scarring.
This treatment is suitable for small skin tags in delicate areas such as the eyelids and neck. Plexr can also remove larger skin tags or multiple skin tags, but you may require more than one treatment session to see optimal results.
We perform the Plexr soft surgery under local anaesthetic to help reduce any discomfort. Downtime is also minimal, with most patients returning to work in a day or two.

A small scab may form over the skin tag, which will also drop off in a few days. It is important not to pick this scab to prevent infection.
